Step-by-step Guide

The registration form is in German. Check below image and fill the form accurately. Don’t forget to tick the “” option. As shown in the image. Fill the form and click “Registrieren” button below. (If you already have an user account at http://www.computerbild.de, you can simply skip the registration process. If so continue from here)

Computerbild just sent you the email confirmation. Check your email account and click the link to activate the account. If the confirmation email is not there, make sure you checked the Spam folder and also make sure you typed the correct email address. Image of the email I got is shown below.

The link in the email will take you to below page. (or go here – http://www.computerbild.de/Kaspersky-Security-Suite-CBE-09-4280623.html)Make sure you tick second option of that screen, as shown below. Then click “Lizenzschlüssel anfordern” button shown.

Now, computerbild will send you another email with Kaspersky License Key! Image of the email I got is shown below (I’m only showing first 7 characters of the key just because I want to keep it private ;-) ).

OK.. Now you have the KEY. So the nest step is downloading Kaspersky Internet Security 2010.

After the installation and entering the received key what you have to do is just changing it back to English. To do so,

Open Kaspersky CBE by double clicking on the system tray icon. Then select “Einstellungen” button on top right corner. Select “Einstellungen” from the menu shown in the left menu of new window. Then UN-TICK the 1st option (Selbstschutz aktiveren). Finally click “OK” here and make sure you close KIS CBE window before continuing to the next step.

Download this file – http://www.multiupload.com/LFPBXS0E6A (Password – ayomaonline.com) and open it. Click “continue” and “yes” (depending on your operating system). The file will perform required registry modifications to change the language settings.

OK.Now, open Kaspersky CBE again by double clicking on the system tray icon. Then select “Einstellungen” button on top right corner. Select “Einstellungen” from the menu shown in the left menu of new window. Then TICK the 1st option (Selbstschutz aktiveren) as it was in the original status.

Now it is time to reboot your computer. After the reboot open KIS CBE if you want and you’ll surely see the usual English interface like below.

Renew Kaspersky Security Suite 2009 CBE license (how to renew KIS 2009 CBE license).

Normally KIS CBE licensees are limited to 60-70 days. You have to renew the license once the license get expired. So here is how to renew Kaspersky Security Suite 2009 CBE license (how to renew KIS 2009 CBE license).

Open KIS 2009 as usual, select “license” tab as shown below and select “Renew” button buter the license tab.

The button will lead you to the below page. Click on the banner marked with an arrow.

Enter the username and password you provided in the registration process and click “login” button.

One you submit the form, site will take you to the next screen. Make sure you tick second option of that screen, as shown below. Then click “Lizenzschlüssel anfordern” button shown.

You just received an email with the new key!
