JCMY (Junior Code Master of the year) 2007 coding competition was conducted by IESL (The Institute of Engineers, Sri Lanka).  This competition was open, only for school students under 19 years. IESL gave a coding challenge to all the participants and they selected best three solutions for the award.

Me (Ayoma Gayan Wijethunga) and my class mate Gayan Anushka attended this event. I could win the GOLD Medal and was awarded with the title “Junior Code Master of the Year”. Thought to share the question paper and my solution over here.

Many students were there getting ready to grab the GOLDS. I was in the last row. So I saw most of them using GUI IDEs such as VB, VC++ and PHP.   ;-)   I though of developing the solution with  a GUI to fit the competition. Unfortunately NetBeans, Eclipse or JBuilder was not provided. So I had no choice other than VB6 (my favorite  language at that time) to fit the time frame.
